What Can Cause Dark Spots On Thighs?

I have been busy lately and havent taken care of my body like i normally do and I have these dark spots coming out of my skin, mainly my thighs I can feel them and and see them, on sides of my thighs. They are hard when I feel them. what might it be? Is it ever going to go away?

Hi,

Dark inner thighs are a common problem, caused by extra pigment called melanin. As healthcare providers we refer to this condition as hyper-pigmentation. Please let your GP check that the cause is not a systemic disease. If yes, the treatment of the underlying condition should solve the problem. Otherwise your pharmacist will be able to recommend you creams etc.
