General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

*There are many reasons behind the acid reflux, as stress, indigestion, inadequate sleep, acid base disturbances through stomach cells and so forth.

* The root cause should be sorted out with detailed history, physical examination and supportive facts of endoscopy or else to figure out the curative line of management ahead.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
