What Can Cause A Flag In The Quest Labs?

I drank a doxic drink for THC, I had smoked six days prior to the test, the home test came back negative but quest labs said it was irregular and subject to further testing. I also have prescptions for Valium and lamectal and take 50mg of Benadryl nightly and take biotin and Rogaine for my hair would any of this cause a flag at quest labs?

Thanks for writing in.

Drug tests are of many types. The home test is not very sensitive and quest labs test is highly accurate. Smoking 6 days before the test will give positive report on drug screen. The cut off for the test might be low and that is why it came back positive. Additional tests are recommended to confirm the report. The hair test is usually positive after a week following consumption of canabinoids and are detected till 3 months.

Valium and Lamictal might cause false positive test for PCP and synthetic canabinoids. This has to be discussed with the testing authorities. You might like to retake the test after clarifying with the concerned laboratory.If they ask for more testing then please inform them. Please do not worry.
