What Can Be The Cause Of Large Red Welps On The Face Of A 5 Year Old ?

My 5 year old has recently got 3 large red welps on her face. The older welps have gone down from the swelling , and it looks like a small cluster of scaps in the center of the spot. She just got another today, and it is large and red, no pus . She has no other symptoms. We live in a townhouse and no other member of the family has been bitten by any bugs. Why is this just on her face, and not on the body at all.

Pediatrician 's  Response
hi
thanks for your query
i can feel your concerns
your child seems to be bitten by some insect or bug.it's not necessary that older family members are also affected
usually allergic reactions are on whole body and bite by some bug is localized to area of bite.
i advise you to get your child examined by doctor to diagnose the problem
wishing your child good health
regards
