What Can Be Done For Autistic Child With Pneumonia?
Hi Dr. Grief,
My two year old daughter was just diagnosed with pneumonia. An antibiotic was prescribed and is to be given 3X per day. Kaleigh was also diagnosed with autism recently and participates in almost 30 hrs a week of OT, Speech Therapy, and ABA. She is exhausted! What is rcommended re: "rest" and participation in daily routine during these next 10 days. I want to do what is best for her and I am just not sure which way to go. Thank you for your input. -Donna

It may be a viral URTI which gradually resolves by symptomatic treatment or else if it was lung infection better to show to near by pediatrician as chances of pneumonia may be there,kindly describe the symptoms detailly
