What Can I Do To Manage Fatigue While On Metoprolol?

I am tired almost all the time but it really hits about 11:00 a.m. and I am almost nonfunctional the rest of the day. I think it might be the heart meds. I take Metoprolol-ER 25mg, 1 tablet 1 time a day. I usually take at bedtime. What can I do to counteract this or not be tired and is taking the drug during the daytime an option? I also have limb-girdle muscular dystrophy but I still work.

Hi,

You can, of course, the time of medication dosage. You will have to discuss this with your physician because the reason that you have symptoms of tiredness during the daytime may not be due to the medicine still you can change the dose time. Other causes of tiredness need to be found out but it is not the night time medicine taken for heart disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
