What Are Uterine Fibroids And PCOS Suggestive Of?

Hi doctor, I am 3 months pregnant. two weeks before we took ultrasound scan. the scan report show that i have uterine fibroid and polycystic ovaries. the doctor suggested tablets for this. but still iam worring about this. could you please explain me what is mean by uterine fibroid and polycystic ovaries and how will affect me and my baby during delivery.Is there any thing to worry?

Hi,

Yes, there might not be room for the baby. Cannot say in your particular case but the PCOS is a problem for conception (so, past that point) and the fibroids can complicate the rest of pregnancy. But his is highly dependent on the size and location of the fibroid.
