What Are The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Meth?

Hello I am recently on the withdrawal period from meth, it is not as bad since I have not done large amounts in a short amount of time. I been doing it for about maybe a month or a little less. And now in the fourth week after starting to quit I have noticed that after playing rough, fast, and 6+ hours of tennis every day, that my right knee is kind of hurting when I fully extend my leg to either run or walk. What could it mean? Also my Achilles tendon is having some pain, not too much. As well as the middle top of my foot? What can I do to recover???Also, since my teeth feel like they are losing a little bit of strength should I consume milk, calcium supplements, and any other dairy to repair them?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Strains of muscles and tendons often occur with increases in exercise. The usual treatment is rest, anti-inflammatories, maybe ice immediately, if there is a signfiicant enough injury but warmth helps resolve inflammation that has already occurred.

The problem is that the lower limb cannot easily be entirely rested.

Next issue is the teeth. Methamphetamine is well known to cause tooth clenching and tooth damage. Remember, the fad of wearing a pacifyer? it was about that. There isn't a mineral repair for this and dental intervention is needed, and it isn't easy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
