What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Hydromorphone Dose?

I,ve been reading about different drugs used for pain,and how they metabolize into other drugs. I used to take hydrocodone(viciden)and dr. said it metabolizes into dilaudid. at that time he put me on the hydromorphone .does hydromorphone metabolize into any other drugs

Hydromorphone is metabolized in the liver to a substance called glucuronide conjugate.

It is then excreted in the kidneys.

The metabolite is not an active one. This means it does not cause pain relief
