What Are The Treatments For Pain And Swelling In Joints?

I seem to have some swelling of my joints. I notice it in my fingers mainly, but also in my wrists, knees and elbows. I first noticed my right wrist on Christmas eve was aching, then the knuckle of the pointer finger of my right hand. The next day, my right knee also began to ache and I was having some difficulties walking, as though my feet were swollen. The next day, the joints of my fingers on both hands were swollen and every joint seems to ache.
