Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I slept with a guy who had chlamydia that I found out about later. I went and gave a urine sample at my GP s. I m a bit clumsy and the cup slipped in my hand so some of the urine spilled in to the toilet. I got the results back and they where negative... can I be certain the results are correct?
If at all the urine just spilled a little from the cup without having the cup contacting any other object or surface then there is nothing really to worry about.
But if at all you were on medications the sample could have been influenced and so it would be best provide a sample without being on any medications, and also at times the sample can be influenced by various other factors. To clear yourself of all doubt, why don't you go ahead with another test for the same.
Hope the helps.
Best wishes.
