What Are The Symptoms Of Tension Headache?

I get headaches at the brow of my nose between my eyes. They say they are tension headaches. They normally go away. But its still tender when I press on that area. Mostly on the right side going towards the corner of the eye. Is this normal? or should I go see a doctor?

Sorry to hear about your on going headaches. While it is possible the scenario could reflect tension headaches its rare to have a tender area with tension type headaches. Commonly when someone has pain in the notch of their eyebrow it could be sinus related pressure headaches or something called supraorbital headaches. There is a small notch located at the medial aspect of everyones eyebrow, if pressing here reproduces your headaches you may have supraorbital neuralgia/headaches. You can go speak with your pcp to help rule these two possible diagnosis out. If you do have supraorbital neuralgia, i suggest seeing a interventional pain physician for possible diagnostic nerve block. Hope this helps you and hope you feel better soon.
