What Are The Symptoms Of Scabies?
How do I know for sure if I have scabies which is what the website gives me in one of my results. My daughter came home from college and has a rash and itching. She went to an urgent care to be checked but the dr. said she didn t she any burrows in her skin to make her treat her for scabies. She treated her with a steroid and went away for about a week but is now starting to itch and breakout again. Now I have the same rash and itch. No one else in our family has it or showed any signs of it. Should I try something over the counter before calling to see the dr.?

Scabies cause itching usually below neck. Burrows are sure sign but not found in all. Affected family members are clues.
Take antiscabies treatment as Benxylbenzoate or Permethrin lotion. Apply at night and take bath after 12 hours. Soak all clothes in warm water for 1 hour.
Apply cream after interval of 3 days. No sharing of clothes or bed with other family members. Tablet Levocetrizine for itching. Soap Monosulfiram for bathing. All these are prescription drugs so please contact your local doctor for prescription.
