Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Usually osteomyletis has typical symptoms, it incudes fever, fatigue, irritability, pain and signs of inflamation in the site of entry(redness, tenderness, warmth), swelling around the affected bone.
For the diagnosis is often needed a RMI and a bone biopsy.
Most of the patients require antibiotics IV and surgery for the treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
