I am 6 weeks pregnant. On sunday evening I started having pain on my left side and had a sudden gush of blood. I went to the e.r and had a internal and external ultrasound. They told me they did not see a heartbeat but did see a baby. They did a internal exam and said my cervix is closed and still thick. My blood work came back at 21,000 and today i had more blood tested and it rose 7,000. I am still bleeding on and off. Sometimes pink, sometimes red. Light cramping in my back.. My doctor also said I have a small sack of blood by the placenta. I just want to know if I can continue to think I am going to be o.k and have a baby or am I setting myself up for heartache? When I was in the e.r they told me I was having a miscarrige but I am still pregnant and my levels are going up.
