What Are The Symptoms Of Meningitis?

My son has a fever, for three days. He is complaining of soreness in his neck as well. We are thinking he can go see his primary care doctor in the morning. My wife has heard that meningitis has these symptoms and we are trying to decide what to do. Should we page his pediatrician?
