What Are The Symptoms Of Infection In The Mouth?

I just ate (probably something I shouldn't have and immediately tongue and roof if mouth started with the burning which I have been experiencing. Tongue a kind of light purplish. How does one know if I have infection which is not good. It has been going on pretty near a month.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of infection in the mouth after eating something seems to be allergic reaction and it could be due to low immunity or some underlying disease . Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult oral pathologist for proper diagnosis and to find out the exact cause. Doctor may examine them physically and order allergy testing. Drink plenty of fluids and apply dologel. Start multivitamin supplement and do warm saline rinses 2-3 times daily and avoid hot and spicy food. Maintain oral hygiene.
