Hello dear,
A. First of all, HIV cannot be detected only on the basis of symptoms.
Presence of
mouth ulcer can be due to bad eating habits, as suspected by you.
However, presence of slippery mouth with whitish substance can be attributed to
oral candidiasis, a
fungal infection caused due to poor
oral hygiene or decrease in body immunity.
Management will involve a course of antifungal agents.
Kindly consult an
ENT specialist & get a proper examination of your oral cavity done.
B. As you have a history of unprotected sexual intercourse, it will be better to relieve your concern regarding HIV infection.
You can undergo certain tests like p24 assay or PCR for HIV, which are almost 100 % sensitive.
The presence of a single virus in the body can be detected by PCR even during the window period.
So, if this test comes negative, you can be sure that you are safe.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
