What Are The Symptoms Of Herpes And Scabies?
Hi, on my penis and pubic are I have dry peeling skin that is mildly itchy. I m sexually active but have not been for 2 weeks. I have athletes foot and I m thinking It could ve went from my foot to my penis area from a towel or my hands because I itch my foot with my hands. I m very nervous if it s herpes, scabies, or something else... What do you think it is and ways to treat it from home?

Thank you for query.These amy be due to fungal infection. it might be due to moisture content or spread from the sharing of towel .Please take following precautions.Use loose cotton clothes.Keep area dry.Apply antifungals like terbinafine which is fungicidal.Once subsides use regularly antifungal dusting powders like candid or absorb powder to prevent recurrence.it is not herpes where water filled lesions will be present.it is not scabies where itchy papules will be present.consult doctor if does not subside.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
