Hello, 1. How do I know if I have pneumonia? I had a fever of 104 F (Thurs) and I felt as though I had been kicked in the chest. My cough is deep and very phlemy. Today (Sat)the fever has hovered around 100.8 to 98.8. The chest doesn t hurt but the coughing and phlem persist and I have been persistently nauseous. 2. How do I know if the clarithromycin prescribed is hurting my liver? I read that nausea and pain in the upper stomach are signs, as well as dark urine. I had dark urine, but before this drug. I was first started on a tetracyclin drug but was switched as I was going to a holiday in the sun. Maybe it caused the dark urine. Some holiday! I have lost appetite and taste and am thinking of stopping the drug after 2 doses. Any help would be great. Thanks, Claire
