What Are The Symptoms Of Gonorrhea?

I am wondering if I have gonorrhea. I had sex just over a week ago with someone who was said they were clean. A couple days ago I used nair on my butt and now have a mucous discharge from my anus and the nair gave me a chemical burn around my cheeks. Is there a reason to be concerned

Hello
You just mentioned that you had a sex but didn't mention with whom?
Write down about whether you are a female or male .
Type of sex is important .
Incubation period is also important.
Gonococcal proctitis ( discharge from anus ) occurs on both male and female and homosexual men secondary to ANAL receptive intercourse.
Can be asymptomatic .
Mucopurulent dischrage can be seen ( as in your case).
According to query it is not possible to diagnose .
So get in a gram stain of urethral specimen showing polymorphonuclear cells ( PMNS) with intracellular gram-negative diplococci is considered diagnostic.
Culture , nucleic acid hybridization tests and NAATs.
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion.
Good luck.
