What Are The Symptoms Of Genital Warts?

Dr., Can genital warts appear like a pimple and be “popped” like a pimple? It’s a single bump (Pimple type) and has returned once in same area. However, if pop it, it goes away. I have nothing similar on any part of the genital area. Thank you-

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. I understand your concerns.
Considering this descrption , it doesnt sounds like warts and this is more likely to be folliculitis or some other skin infections Warts are usually colourless, painless and multiple and occur after recent intercourse. It cant be popped as you describe. However, some stds can be presented on this way such as herpes or molluscul or syphilis so these cant be ruled out without testing.
I hope I have answered you query
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
