What Are The Symptoms Of A UTI In A Child?

MY 9 YR OLD SON JUST GOT OUT OF THE SHOWER N SAID THAT WHILE HE WAS PEEING IT FELT LIKE A LIGHTNING BOLT GOING THRU HIS PEEPER. NO SIGNS OR SYMPTOMS PRIOR. I CAN TAKE HIM TO THE ER BUT THERE ARE NO PHARMYCIES OPEN FOR RX N WHICH IM THINKING THAT SOAP GOT IN THERE OR HE HAS A UTI? IS THERE ANY HOME REMIDIES I CAN DO TO HELP HIM TONIGHT? AND ILL TAKE HIM IN THE MORNING ? IF ANY SIGNS PERCIST?

Following are the symptoms of UTI:

Foul-smelling urine.
Urge to urinate again and again
Irritability.
Lack of appetite.
Crying during urination.
Vomiting or diarrhea- very rare

Give him extra fluids as you already have noticed the symptoms for the next 24 hours. This will help the toxins to flush put with less concentrated urine and wash out the infection-causing bacteria.
Coconut water will help him.
Give him cranberry juice to drink
