What Are The Symptoms Of HIV Infection?

Hi Doctor. Can you help me with some symptoms i have. Im afraid about hiv. I just took my temperature and is 37.5 and i have been like this about 4 days from today. I had diarrea for 3 days, i have had like fatige ,and a little bit of headaches but i dont feel that bad like to go to the hospital. Really appreciate your help

The symptoms you describe and the duration of the symptoms are not specific to HIV even though such feelings are at times linked to it. The symptoms point more to a digestive problem which can only be confirmed with stool and blood tests.Knowing your HIV status at any time is always a very nice habit.HIV is no longer lethal as before.It is now like any other illness that can be controlled.I will advice you go to the hospital, present your symptoms and then request an HIV test.If negative, you run another HIV test after three months.If positive, you start treatment immediately.However, your present symptoms does not mean you have HIV
