Symptoms will be pain abdomen,bleeding per rectum ,fever and loss of weight ,these are classical symptoms of crohns disease.
But crohns can involve duodenum ,if there is erythema and erosion your doctor might have taken biopsy in back ground of family history of crohns disease ,if not you can ask him.
Because crohns disease are classical but histological diagnosis is must.
If Crohns disease is ruled out ,then a coarse of nexpro 20 mg for atleast 6 weeks should help him for those erosions.

Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
You seems to suffer from -Could be Gastric ?Duodenal Crohn's.
But H.Pylori investigations and 3 drug treatment need to be done, to rule out H.Pylori Gastric and duodenal ulcerations.
Do's -
Urea Breath Test(UBT) and SAT(Stool Antigen Test), need to be done to rule out H.Pylori Ulcerations.
Consults with Physician and GI Specialist would be needed to confirm these complaints.
