HIV AIDS Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Earliest manifestation of HIV can occur after 4-6 weeks after the possible infection, if any.
Your symptoms are not related to HIV early manifestations.

Regarding the negative HIV test for that sex worker, she could be still in her HIV window period (infection present, but negative blood test) If she had her sexual activity within the last 2-3 months.
HIV testing for you 12 weeks after the high risk contact for you would rule out the possibility of HIV.
