What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Necrotising Fasciitis?

Can NECROTIZING FASCIITIS present ONLY starting with back pain, pain on standing, small swelling between hip and spine on lower back then bit worse next day or so with reddening only at sight if the swelling, a little diarrhea, no vomiting then discharged from hospital IMMEDIATELY on diagnosis and sent home with Cefuroxime, Flotac and Citrical ? Then two days later better swelling down, eating v well but still back pain too much to stand! Then told another two weeks to go back and get clear.for a,6hr flight!? This is a summary of what I have been told! But doesn t add up and I need to know re

Necrotizing fascitis is a rapidly spreading infection of the fascia with necrosis of tissues.Given the rapid spread of the infection,treatment starts immediately at diagnosis with intravenous antibiotics and surgical debridement of dead tissues if already too extensive.You might have been misdiagnosed. However, most bacteria skin infections respond to cefuroxime.That might have been the case with you.The most important thing is that you have your health back.For your back pain, i will advise you continue with the pain medication you are taking flotac and observe
