What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Herpes?

How soon would visible signs of herpes occur after sex? I had sex for the first time and experienced some tearing like i was expecting, but there are now a couple blisters on my labia (from pictures I have looked at, these do not seem to closely resemble that of herpes or HPV)

Hello,

Herpes has an incubation period of 2-12 days. On average it takes 4 days for symptoms to appear after transmission.

You'd better let a doctor have a look at it or at least post some pictures here so that I or another colleague can identify the lesions.

Do not delegate such an important matter on internet search or resources. Sometimes the diagnosis can be tricky even for experienced doctors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
