What Are The Side Effects Of Verorab?

Can you give me all the side effect of verorab inactivated as I was bitten 6days ago I was bitten by a monkey in bali and have had two injection my next one is tomorrow which will be my third.And do I have to have booster for the next few years.Thanks

I appreciate your concern for the safety of Verorab.

Generally it is a safe vaccine, however in some individuals it may cause allergic reaction. Other side effects can be pain and swelling at the site of injection (arm) headache, body ache, nausea, & fever.

The verorab vaccine is administered on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 30.

Since you have already received two injections, complete the course as per the schedule given above.
After one year, depending on the circumstances, a booster dose may be needed particularly for the laboratory workers and others who may be repeatedly exposed to rabies virus.
