What Are The Side Effects Of Tobacco?

Hi i am 29 year old lady in india, I used to chew tobacco since last 1 year but in very less quantity, now i have bulging right cheek and jaw has also become a bit tight, i also have wisdom tooth ache. also the cheeks have become bulgy. Do you think i have a serious condition? what shall i do?

hi thanks for asking this in HCM. Tobacco chewing is a very important risk for oral cancer so i advice you to stop chewing tobacco. your complaints seems to suggest a condition called submucous fibrosis which can develop due to tobacco chewing. its a premalignant condition which may develop into oral cancer so advice you to consult a general surgeon and confirm the diagnosis..
