Hello welcome to HMC, thank you for posting your query. I understand your concern. After thyroid gland removal, there will be no production of thyroid hormones leading to hypothyroidism . Intake of thyroxine helps in producing thyroid hormones. Weight loss, fatigue, hairloss are symptoms of hypothyroidism. TSH LEVELS should be checked every 3 months. Drug dosage is based on tsh levels.i suggest you to get a thyroid profile test done and consult endocrinologist. Once tsh levels come under normal range all the symptoms wil be resolved.
