What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Pyzina ?

Hai doctor, one of my friend is suffering from T.B. and she is taking 4 tablets like R cines, beneton, mycobuton, pyzina. In that pyzina is heavily allergic to her because once she tooks this tablet she starts vomiting.. so is there any other tablet act as subsititute this

Pyrazinamide is a drug used in the multi drug combination regimen for Tuberculosis. You haven't mentioned the age of your friend and the drug dosage that she is taking.
Pyrazinamide can cause some side effects like nausea, vomiting, joint pains, skin rash, urticaria (itching), fever, malaise, hyperuricemia and hepatotoxicity (dose related). Usually these reactions are minor, and the drug can be continued. If however, your friend is having severe vomiting, she needs to consult her physician, regarding this. The liver function test and the uric acid levels need to be checked. Drugs like ondansetron may give symptomatic relief from the vomiting. If the problem persists, and if other causes of vomiting are ruled out, the drug dosage needs to be reviewed by her physician.
