I was taking my depression and anxiety meds daily when we found out we were pregnant. I stopped those immediately. Then a few weeks ago I had a panic attack at 32 weeks pregnant and started using marijuana to ease the ptsd, anxiety, and depression. Also the pain of my hips spreading and feet swelling. I talked to my Dr And he said that if me or baby tested positive when he came out they would take him from me. So I quit immediately 3 weeks ago. And I m due Jan 28th. We have 29 days until he comes out. Providing he waits bc I feel like he s going to come out every time I potty now, but the plug hasn t come out yet. So I think I m ok. When will the the be out of my system? When Will it leave his? And is there any way to keep him in there longer until my system cleans out? I m not a drug user I have never done anything other than smoke marijuana And I would never use anything to hurt him. My cousin had her baby by csection and smoked on her way into the hospital... They let her take him home but she gets away with everything by playing it up. She s a drama queen. This is my first child and I am terrified . the Dr prescribed me oxypan to take instead of smoking. But .. I don t trust synthetic medicine. So I ve just been dealing with the stress and anxiety. What is the best route? I m a great mom. I give my kids (2 step kids) structure and discipline every day. We have custody of them both bc their mothers signed their rights over. Someone please tell me whether I m going to lose my baby or not. Its too much to panic over and these nightmares are relentless.
