What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Macrobid For Urinary Infection?

What are the usual side effects of taking microbid for urinary infection. Was given 10 pills to take twice a day, every 12 hrs for five days. Am on day 3 now. been taking them at 10 AM and 10PM. The 10 PM pill seems to do just fine, but the 10 AM when I am up and about doing my usual housework, cooking etc seems to leave me a draggy feeling that last about 3 hrs. Have COPD so breathing was already a problem and that I am used to treating with my Advair 500 plus my breathing treatments. Do you think it is OK to finish my last 2 days on this. My reg doc is out of town till Tues and do not feel I need another trip to ER where I got this treatment and prescript Thank you. M.Jacobs

Nausea , headache , flatulance are common side effects of this drug . Feeling dull / tired also can be seen in some patients and I think is not a major side effect of drug and you can continue but if you are feeling something very unusual then inform to the doctor who prescribed you this medicine.
