What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Fosamax?
Hi, Fosamax is otherwise quite a safe drug however it may cause esophagitis and oesophagal dysmotility. For this reason, we generally avoid giving oral bisphosphonates to any patient who has an oesophagal motility problem. As you have oesophagal spasm so I personally think you better avoid taking this drug. You can discuss this with your doctor who may either change the drug or may give you infection instead of it. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
