What Are The Side Effects Of Lactogen?
My baby is 4 months old. we started giving him lactogen due to breast milk insufficiancy. he has also not gained weight this month. does it have any side effects like stomach pain. please advice his weight is 5.3 birth weight is 2.3 please advice im very much worried

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
First of all, let me tell you that your baby's weight is not less. Birth weight doubles at the age of 5th month (generally) but in your case weight is already doubled at 4th month. Also, weight gain is faster in initial days of newborn period which will slow later.
You can give lactogen. It's safe and will not do any harm. But only give after feeding with breast milk and if baby is not fully satisfied, as the breast milk is the best milk.
