What Are The Side Effects Of Hilnor And Ovuloc?

DEAR sir, i have a irregular period and i consult a doctor,she given a HILNOR tablets(4 days).After 5th day of period i went to doctor, she given to me OVULOC tablets for regularize the period, so please give me a suggestion clarify for any side effect further pregnancy. Thank you doctor

Hi,

Hilnor tablet contains norethisterone that is used in the treatment of painful, irregular or heavy menstrual periods, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis etc. It only contains norethisterone that is similar to women's natural hormone progesterone is also used to prevent unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses. Side effects of Hilnor are nausea, vomiting, irregular uterine bleeding, fatigue, weakness, tiredness, upset stomach, indigestion, bloating, stomach pain, changes in appetite, vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, changes in sleep pattern, acnes, facial hair growth, hot flashes, changes in sexual drive, allergic reactions etc. This medication is totally contraindicated in pregnancy.

Ovuloc tablet contains both ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel which is used to treat irregular menstrual periods and prevent unwanted pregnancies from unprotected sexual intercourses. Side effects of Ovuloc tablet are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, sweating, fatigue, weakness, tiredness, anorexia, abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, vaginal dryness, impaired wound healing, dry mouth, weight changes, spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods, allergic reactions etc. This medication is also contraindicated in pregnancies.
