Hello, I m a 25 year old girl and today I received a Tdap Vaccine since I m working in children hospital and have direct contact with small chikdren. I think I already had this shot couple of years ago but didnt have the records in my files so I had to get it again. Hi,

Since there is no documentation of the Tdap vaccination there is no harm in taking a dose regimen again since you are working in a children's hospital and therefore it is essential for you even if was taking years back .

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Riyanka Chail, General & Family Physician
