What Are The Side Effects Of Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

i used contraceptive pill the night before i was to have urinalysis..i was supposed to have menstruation because i finished the active pills..but then i did not take the brown pills and started on a new pack..the doctor said i had menstruation but i dont have..and they found trace of protein in my urine..is it possible that i have menstruation even if i m not?

Hi,
It seems you are on monthly contraceptive pill & took emergency contraceptive to it( ? while you skipped brown pills)
The emergency contraceptive pill has high hormone levels so it is bound to stop your normal period. & by the time it's effect came down to induce bleeding, you had started your new pack of pills.
That's why I feel you had no menses, but doctor thinks it had occured.
To manage this , I would suggest to stop your pill pack let bleeding start & then start new pack of pills .
To consult your doctor is worth while.
