Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Are you joking? Milk is only part of our diet after a advertising campaign from milk companies. Many independant and prominant doctors are talking about the harmful effects of milk. Not just because our cow nowadays are pumped full of hormones to keep them hinking they are pregnant all year round, but because of the nature of lactose and our bodies ability to handle it. Stop giving bad advice out. Soy milk is the most terrible drink you can put in your body, simply because monsanto seeds account for almost all soy products today, this is bad because it is all GM, I am not going to go into the dangers of GM soy but please look it up because you are full of shit.
You have not mentioned for which age you are talking about. The scenario is different for a newborn as compared to an adult. Since you mention about soya milk, I assume that you are talking about an infant (as we do not normally speak about soya milk for adults). Cow milk is difficult to digest for an infant gastrointestinal tract and hence certain symptoms may occur. It may be associated with lactose intolerance or milk allergy where soya milk is preferred. Soya milk is relatively safe and you can give it to your child without worrying.
