What Are The Side Effects Of Cortisone Shot?

On Thursday of this week I had cortisone shot in my right shoulder... everything seemed okay till a few hours ago.. I had the strangest thing happen. I had gone to the bank, and then the store, and while in the store I began to get a yellow ring in my eyes...small at first and then bigger. I made it home, but my son said I was very pale... I ate something and rested a bit.. Now all is well, but I feel shaky ...I have a headache, what happened???? I do not have diabetes... I have been online for afew hours trying to find out what is going on.......

Hi,

Cortisone does causes liver damage but rarely and that too due to over-dosage. Yellowish eyes are symptoms of hepatitis or liver dysfunction. For that, you have to get your liver function tests done from laboratory.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
