What Are The Side Effects Of Clomid?

I am 37, 5 ft 3 and weigh 10 stone 7. I am taking clomid, and on my 2nd cycle. I suffer from very long and regualr cycle. after my first lot of clomid ihad a period on day 29 so this proved the clomid worked. If the next cycle is 29 days i should ovulate this fri 8th (i started on thurs 23rd june). We have had sex sat, sun Mon Tues but not today (wed), I know I sound like Im over worrying but will missing a day in the fertile week hinder my chances of becoming pregnant?

Clomid is clomifene ( clomiphene ) is prescribed in "ANOVULATORY INFERTILITY".
Now about your question your menses started on 23rd JUNE ( CYCLE IS 29 Days) .Now note down. The size of follicle should be around 19 to 20 mm on DAY 14-15 at least to rupture and liberates OVUM .
This means dominant follicle should rupture on 7th 8th July and release ovum on these days .
As you are one day late of period date , so get in home pregnancy test after 7 days delay of your period .
