Hi,

Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections. Although they are generally safe and effective, they can have side effects. The most common antibiotics side effects include:
- Diarrhea: Antibiotics can disrupt the natural balance of bacteria in the digestive tract, leading to diarrhea.
- Nausea and vomiting: Antibiotics can cause stomach upset, nausea, and vomiting.
- Allergic reactions: Some people may be allergic to certain antibiotics and experience symptoms such as rash, hives, and difficulty breathing.
- Resistance: Overuse or misuse of antibiotics can lead to antibiotic resistance, which means that bacteria become resistant to the drugs and they become less effective over time.
- Interference with other medications: Antibiotics can interfere with other medications, such as birth control pills, reducing their effectiveness.
- Damage to organs: Certain antibiotics, such as aminoglycosides, can cause damage to the kidneys and hearing.

It's important to take antibiotics only as prescribed by a healthcare provider and to complete the entire course of treatment, even if symptoms improve. This can help prevent antibiotic resistance.

In terms of a permanent solution for boils, it depends on the underlying cause. Recurrent boils may be a sign of an underlying medical condition, such as diabetes or a weakened immune system. It's important to talk to a healthcare provider about recurrent boils to determine the underlying cause and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
