What Are The Side Effects Of Androgel?
My husband has been using Androgel for two years. I now have high testosterone levels. He is very careful to wear a shirt to cover the areas that he applies the gel. It is possible for me to get it through his semen? Does the Androgel cause his semen to have elevated levels? I get a daily dose of this, and sometimes twice a day.

It is not possible for you to get testosterone thru your husband's semen. However testosterone can stay on his clothes so if you do his laundry, for example and touch his cloth you can come in to contact with the medicine like that. It can also be on the bed sheets or other surfaces. Both of you have to be very careful. It is recommended that he washes off the skin where he applied it after 2 hours of application.
Alternatively, he can discuss with his urologist getting another type of delivery such as pellets which get injected under the skin every 3 months of so and are safe and effective. It is definitely not healthy for woman to have excessive testosterone in their body so please do take care of it so it cross contamination does not continue.
