What Are The Side Effects Of Accidental Double Dosage Of Amoxicillin?
I started on amoxicillin 250mg chew tables at 10 am today. The directions say take two every 8 hours. Well I accidently took my second dose early @ 2pm when it wasn t needed until six. Will I have side effects and when should I take the next dose ? Would two am be the next time ?

breathing problems.

redness, blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, including inside the mouth.
The next dose should be taken as per original schedule.

I have gone through your query. As you have taken the dose for 6pm at 2pm you can skip the one at 6pm and continue as 8 hourly before. You won't have any side effect from this as you are still in therapeutic range. But be careful not to repeat it again. Take enough food at time as Amoxycillin can give gastritis and diarrhea if you don't take food properly. Hope this may help you.
