What Are The Side Effects Of Tozar H?
What are the side effects and drug interaction of long term use of Losaraton ie. Tozar ? My height is 153 cms. 69 kgs family histoy of hypertension, now on Tozar for last 3 years,my BP is normal now, but cardiologist advises to continue ,- should I ?

Tozaar 50 mg contains losartan potassium which belongs to the group of medications known as angiotensin receptor blockers is used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. Lowering blood pressure helps to prevent future heart attack and stroke. This medication is also used effective in preserving kidney function in patients with diabetes.
Side effects of Tozaar are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, decreased blood pressure, hypoglycemia, increased potassium level in blood, increased blood urea, stomach pain, chills, difficulty in micturition, back pain, chest tightness, weakness in arms, hands, legs or feet, nasal congestion, sore throat, heartburn, indigestion, GIT upset, stuffy nose, fatigue, pain in the chest, allergic reactions etc. If this side effects persist for long or bother you then you should consult your doctor promptly. It may cause interaction with some medications like Amiloride, Bemiparin, Dalteparin, Heparin, Dexamethasone etc and develop serious type of side effects.
