What Are The Side Effects Of Sinarest AF Over Dosage In An Infant?

Dear Doctor, I am a father of a 5 month old infant. She has had a bad cold, and our pediatrician suggested giving her Sinarest AF syrup, 0.3 ml each time, twice a day for 3 days. Unfortunately, we read that as 0.8ml as it was handwritten and gave her that much in the morning. That is the only time we have given her that so far. Would it cause any problem to her and what is the best way out from here?

Hello! It's too much for a 5 months old baby taking 0.8 ml Sinarest, but don't worry! Only one dose, does not cause poisoning. Anyway if he has symptoms like drowsiness, vomiting, dark urine, yellowing eyes or skin you have to take your child to hospital. You should be careful in giving other doses. I recommend not to give your child another dose today. I wish you all the best.
