What Are The Side Effects Of R-cinex And Omnacortil?

My husband is diagnosed with sarcoidosis over TB lymph nodes. He took medicine for TB only for 3 months. After fresh scan it is found that size of lymph nodes is reduced but involvement of lungs is observed. Now he is prescribed Rcinex and omnacortil 30. I just want to know the possible sideeffects of the medicines and how to deal with those side effects.

As diagnosis is clear and you mentioned in the query about the side effects of Rcinex and Omnacotil , these are:
R-cinex ingredient Rifampicin 450 + isoniazid 300 mg and omnacortil i.e prednisolone.
Side effects of RIFAMPICIN :Rash , itching, jaundice, flu-like illness, muscle cramps/ aches , nausea/vomiting, red colored urine, C NS disturbances.
Side effects of isoniazide:Rash, blurred vision, twitching/muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, jaundice.
So the side effects of both these drugs are more or less same .
Usually antacid or proton pump inhibitors are advised along Rcinex to alleviate side effects.
Prednisolone , side effects:
Osteoporosis , fractures, water retention, peptic ulceration, glaucoma, pancretitis, hyperglycemia.
Once again consult another physician and get his opinion regarding the use of OMNACORTIL .
