What Are The Side Effects Of Omeprozale?

Hello. I am a 31 year old male im overweight but ive made some lifestyle changes started eating less and exercising regularly and in the past 5 months have lost on average 15 pounds a month. But I have had high blood pressure for a while and a few months ago I was told I had an ulcer and acid reflux. I take omeprozale everyday and meds for blood pressure. But lately ive been experiencing a lot of problems. Some of the time after I eat my stomach cramps and I feel like my bp rises and often my pulse too. Ive been having trouble sleeping and sometimes I get these jolted feelings as I try to sleep and it feels like my bp and pulse go up. Im also in the middle of a divorce. I moved in with a friend he lost his job then we lost our apartment because he wasn t working so im temporarily staying with my parents sleeping on their couch until I save money to get a place. I also have 4 kids. A few minutes ago I noticed I could feel what seemed like my pulse in my lower back. Ill be honest, since my wife left me in February ive been feeling worse and worse. It was a shock. I keep worrying all the time about everything and after we split up I had 2 friends die that were my age so ive been worried that something will happen to me. Sometimes I get these quickly fleeting pains in my chest both sides (which I figure is the acid reflux) there have been a few instances when it felt like there was something stuck in my throat and sometimes I get short of breath but it usually goes away pretty quick. I keep being told by friends that I have anxiety issues which would make sense. Just looking for an explanation. Thank you.

You are taking medicine for acid reflux , as well as medicine for high B P .
Also feeling some pain in the chest on both side , palpitation .
All these symptoms may be due to these possibilities , these include :
1 Angina pectoris , as this is most common cause of such symptoms , particularly in patient whose life is passing through high risk . I recommend you first of all get in EKG and echo . Consult a cardiologist and get his opinion .
2 Hyper acidity or gastric ulcer , may be the reason of such symptoms . Since you are already diagnosed as an ulcer patient ,so consult your treating physician and take a complete treatment , because prolong period for ulcer may not be good for you.
Try raising the head of your bed about 4 inches with blocks. It might also help to avoid eating or drinking for 3 hours before you lie down. To help control stomach acid one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them or eat chocolates or pizza or burger or spicy or greasy foods.
3 Tension or anxiety are other possibilities for you illness and such symptoms , so please be careful about that also .
Omeprazole have very minor side effects and you can take even for prolong period .These are nausea , rashes , headache , abdominal discomfort etc ,but benefits are more so take it .
In my opinion first of all consult a cardiologist and sort out heart problem.
