What Are The Side Effects Of Nicorette?
Good day Doctor I am a smoker and suffering with thyroid problems.However,I would like to stop smoking and would like to know the effects that the Nicorette and other stop smoking substances will have on my thyroid ,please. I m currently on Eltroxin,(1mg the one day and 0.5mg the next day). I would appreciate it if you can answer my question please. Virginia Louw

I think you may be safe to use nicorette to withdraw from nicotine. Continue to take levothyroxine as usual. You can use patches of nicotine or lozenges.
